This is not an Albert Einstein’s theory. Enjoy reading this :)

Dedicated to DotAers, students, hard cores, dieters and my dear friends. This is based on my own research, reading, experiment, experiences and conclusion but will not guarantee 100% correct but will almost reach the 100%.

According to dictionary, sleep is a condition of body and mind such as that which typically recurs for several hours every night, in which the nervous system is relatively inactive, the eyes closed, the postural muscles relaxed, and consciousness practically suspended. It is a norm in Malaysia that people sleep at 12.00 to 5.00 or 6.00 which is 5 or 6 hours. Some maybe sleep till 7 or 8 hours, if they slept at 12 a.m. So, here a question. Does we need to sleep exactly 6 hours or 8 hours? The answer is we only need to sleep a total of around 4 hours only. Didn’t believe me?

Let’s say that you sleep at 12 am. Eventually you'll wake up around 6 am without the help of an alarm clock. If u sleeps at 2 am, you'll wake up at at 10 am. And if you sleep at 4 am, you'll wake around 1 pm averagely.

12 - 6 = 6 hours
2 - 10 = 8 hours
4 - 1 = 9 hours

So here a conclusion, why don’t we sleep at 9.30 pm right after isya' prayers? We'll wake up at around 1.30am, which only 4 hours of sleeping. As you also know that it is important to have the quality of sleeping, not the quantity. There is a rumor saying that para sahabat also sleep after isya'. Well, 1 doesn’t simply state that we should sleep at 9.30 pm and wake up at 1.30 am without a valid reason.

To students, when you wake up in the morning, which is the time that your brain is totally fresh for studying. Don’t ask why, it is a fact. According to a student, nerve cells in human brain replenish or refresh itself at night starting from 10 pm to 1 am. During this period also, the brain records the memory for that day. But this process only happens when we are sleeping. Therefore 9.30 pm to 1.30 am is a suitable time.

To dieters, to avoid getting fat, 1 of the ways that you can do is to take a bath before subuh which is around 5.50 am. The cold water will avoid the fat from being coagulated in your body.

To DotAers, if you sleep less, you can play more. Simple theory ma. ^_^

Based on history, during the glory age of the Islam, all the scholars and the leaders only sleep around 4 hours only, which we think that it is impossible. But the history shows that at that time Islam rule the world with only 4 hours of sleeping. And they woke up early in the morning too. And as a Muslim, we also can perform our tahajjud prayers at this hour.

I have make an experiment on myself an its works just fine. The only hard thing to do is to stay awake and not go back to bed when you're already awake at 1.30 am. It is only hard because it has become our norm that we will think we didn't get enough sleep if we already awake at 1.30 am. Rethink, the important thing is the quality not quantity. So may you all have a good sleeping time and reset your biological alarm clock.
